This study will investigate the role of substance misuse and suicide in increased risk of death and reduced life expectancy in chronic psychotic disorders. The study will investigate the relationship between substance misuse, suicide, and mortality. In light of recent changes to service provision (e.g. addiction services), the study will assess whether there have been changes in these interactions and their effects on mortality over time.<br/>
