Many patients with anorexia nervosa exhibit autistic characteristics, and a new clinical pathway ('PEACE pathway') has been established in eating disorder treatment programmes to meet the needs of autistic people, who may have sensory or communication difficulties. This project aims to evaluate the clinical outcomes and cost-savings of the PEACE pathway, especially its impact on patients in terms of eating disorder symptoms, weight improvement, comorbidities, and length of admission.
