At present, little is known about when seclusion should be terminated. The aim of the Seclusion Termination Project is to examine predictors of failed seclusion termination (as indicated by seclusion re-initiation or a violent incident) in adult inpatient mental health services, in order to inform future decisions around termination of seclusion.<br/>
