Lay Summary :
Much information about self-harm and suicidality is recorded as free text. However, very little research has looked at the links between physical illness and self-harm/suicidality using free-text data. We will use natural language processing (NLP) tools to identify mentions of self-harm/suicidality and physical illness in the clinical notes of a cohort of patients in CRIS for use as variables in this study.<br/>
