Lay Summary :
There is evidence that clozapine can cause obsessive-compulsive symptoms (OCS). Since clozapine is only prescribed for people with treatment resistant psychosis, a possible explanation is that treatment resistant psychosis could be associated with obsbessive-compulsive symptoms unrelated to treatment. This study aims to use CRIS database to answer two questions: a) in patients with treatment resistant psychosis, is the prevalence of OCS greater when taking clozapine than other antypsychotics? b) What are the clinical and demographic predictors of obsessive-compulsive symptoms in clozapine-treated patients?<br/>
