Lay Summary :
Most studies of NHS mental health care inequalities in the UK focus only on characteristics of service users, i.e. there is limited/no information on local context. This is an important limitation to trying to understand mental health inequalities in areas with high levels of diversity and socioeconomic disadvantage. This study will re-use the linkage of CRIS with individual data from the South East London Community Health (SELCoH) study, collected in 2008-2010 to look at what factors shape patterns of mental health care access and treatment receipt.<br/>
