Depression prodromal to Alzheimer’s disease: mechanisms, biomarkers and potential drug targets

The project will investigate the association between late-life depression and dementia. We intend to assess clinical factors associated with the progression of late-life (especially late-onset) depression to dementia.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
