Immune and psychiatric phenotype in schizophrenia and related disorders

Inflammatory bio-markers may be useful to identify which patients are unlikely to respond to conventional anti-psychotic treatment. This study will seek to characterize the immunological characteristics of patients experiencing acute psychosis and relate these to symptom profiles and treatment response.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
