TMS-EEG to measure treatment response in individuals with psychosis C4C
Previous research has shown that the combination of TMS (a brain stimulation technique) and EEG (a brain imaging technique), or TMS-EEG, is a sensitive tool for detecting drug-induced changes in brain activity. The current study aims to assess whether TMS-EEG can detect a difference in brain activity between people who respond well to antipsychotic treatment versus those who do not. This could provide potential markers for treatment response in psychosis and help individuals with psychosis find the best treatment for them.
