Catatonia in Autism: Prevalence and Characteristics

Catatonia in autism is a rare condition. In catatonia, there is a decline in functioning, movement and speech difficulties. We will look at the population of adults under the care of mental health in learning disabilities teams and determine the prevalence and features of the disorder in this group.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
