Examining differences in socio-demographic and clinical characteristics in young people treated by Child and Adolescent ADHD services by age of first diagnosis

This project aims to explore socio-demographic and clinical profiles in young people who were diagnosed with ADHD in primary school (early diagnosis) compare those to those first diagnosed in secondary school (late diagnosis). A particular focus of the study is to examine whether age-related discrepancies are consistent across gender groups.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
