A randomised feasibility trial investigating Sativex? for the treatment of the Agitation & Aggression (A/A) in Alzheimer’s Dementia | C4C

This study will explore a cannabinoid-based medicine (Sativex?) for the treatment of behavioural symptoms in people with Alzheimer’s disease in nursing homes. In order to find out whether Sativex? is acceptable in nursing homes, we are inviting individuals to take part in a research project in which people will be given either Sativex? or a placebo equivalent to compare.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
