This project aims to test whether an automated electronic system called MyHealthE (MHE) has improved the collection rates of patient rated outcome measures (PROMS) in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). We want to use CRIS to compare PROM collection rates before and after the implementation of MHE. We also want to find out if sociodemographic factors of families using MHE e.g. age of child, gender, ethnicity, neighbourhood deprivation affects level of engagement with the platform, so we can better understand who may/may not benefit from a digital system. Overall, this study will help us understand whether the MHE automated collection system puts some patient groups at a disadvantage compared to other (mainly paper-based) data collection methods, and provide suggestions on how we could improve this.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
