Seclusion Termination Project

At present, little is known about when seclusion should be terminated. The aim of the Seclusion Termination Project is to examine predictors of failed seclusion termination (as indicated by seclusion re-initiation or a violent incident) in adult inpatient mental health services, in order to inform future decisions around termination of seclusion.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
