Identifying frequency and clinical characteristics of psychiatric-onset Lewy Body Dementia
For a proportion of people who go on to develop dementia with Lewy bodies, the first symptoms they report are psychiatric ones such as hallucinations and delusions. We want to identify everyone over 50 who has reported hallucinations or delusions for the first time, we then want to follow these subjects to see how many are diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies and what factors predict a dementia diagnosis.
