Testing the feasibility and utility of automated decision support using quantitative MRI volumetric reports in a real world memory clinic cohort

  • Applicant: Ashwin Venkataraman
  • Project ID: 21-123

This project will use a novel cutting edge algorithms to automatically provide readouts of the size of an individual’s brain areas compared to a reference population using brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These readouts will be compared to existing radiology reports and clinical diagnosis with the aim of improving the accuracy of diagnosis as a form of precision medicine in dementia assessment.
