Stroke incidence after depot antipsychotic initiation

There are concerns about the risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease in people receiving antipsychotic medication. This study will compare these outcomes in people receiving different ‘depot’ (long acting injectable) antipsychotic medications for the first time.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
