Neurocognitive mechanisms underlying dissociative amnesia | C4C

This study aims to understand the neurocognitive mechanims underlying dissociative (psychogenic) amnesia, a rare memory disorder involving loss of personal memory for the past. We will combine functional and structural neuroimaging, neuropsychological assessments, cognitive tasks and a qualitative interview to improve our understanding of this memory disorder.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
