Comorbidity of bipolar disorder and stimulant use disorder in a secondary care South London population

There is little data from the United Kingdom about substance use comorbidity in patients with bipolar affective disorder and how it impacts prognosis and clinical care. This project aims to investigate the prevalence of stimulant use disorders in patients with bipolar disorder and associations with clinical characteristics and outcomes.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
