Investigating risk-taking behaviours in bipolar disorder using Natural Language Processing

The project will form part of a PhD thesis which is investigating the language of risk-taking in bipolar disorder across different contexts (interviews, social media and medical records.) The project will use Natural Language Processing to ascertain and characterise risk-taking behaviours in a population of people living with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
