Kidney disease in People receiving Mental Health Care

It has been documented that individuals with severe mental illness are at higher risk of developing chronic kidney disease. This project will investigate the link between kidney disease and severe mental illness, and what factors are associated with worse health outcomes for this population.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
