Characteristics of LGBTQIA+ older adults at the time of dementia diagnosis

Older LGBT+ individuals tend to present to mental health services later than heteronormative cisgender individuals. This may in turn reduce the possibility of early diagnosis and treatment. This study will examine trends in dementia diagnosis in LGBT+ individuals

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
