Comparison of recorded pain between patients from the CRIS database and Lambeth DataNet

The purpose of this project is to compare a cohort within CRIS which was selected using outputs of an NLP (natural language processing) application, developed to identify mentions of pain within the free text of CRIS, to patients within Lambeth DataNet who have recorded instances of pain.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
