Clinical profile of ECT response in Mother and Baby Unit inpatients

Mother and Baby unit is a specialist inpatient unit caring for acutely unwell mothers and babies in perinatal period. ECT is a treatment used on the unit with good response. The aim of the project is to explore to explore the clinical profile of patients who respond to ECT in the perinatal period. There is paucity off research in this area and the project will help our understanding if the predictors of ECT response in this population.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
