SLaM R&D Expression of Interest pathway

South London and Maudsley Research and Development (R&D) team receive approximately one expression of interest (EOI) every month from other Trusts or pharmaceutical companies to investigate whether SLaM could be a research site for ongoing or upcoming studies. In order to make a decision re capacity and capability, the R&D office need to have approximate numbers of people under SLaM care with the condition that is being investigated by the studies that express interest in collaborating with our Trust. At the moment, the R&D team reach out to various clinical teams to ask for this information, making it often complex, lengthy and inaccurate. Collaborating with CRIS to get these estimates will allow for a straightforward pathway to reach reliable data on numbers of people who may meet inclusion criteria for future research studies.
