Laboratory markers of inflammation and physical health risk, course of disease and mortality in people with eating disorders
Physical health monitoring is key in people with eating disorders to keep them safe. However, clinical markers of inflammation and other blood markers of physical risk are often misinterpreted in emergency situations. We would like to learn from data derived from the Eating Disorders Service of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) that are available at the CRIS database, how social, biological and health-related factors influence inflammatory and physical risk parameters in people with eating disorders.
