Community Forensic Physical Health QI Project

Patients with a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness are at increased risk of dying prematurely from common physical health conditions, such as cardiovascular disease. This project aims to improve the monitoring of physical health in patients under the care of the four SLaM community forensic teams.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
