Child and adolescent depression, treatment, and educational outcomes

Previous research we have conducted using linked CRIS and education data has shown that child and adolescent depression is associated with declines in school performance. This work will update that research using a recently refreshed CRIS and education data linkage, and extend it by investigating the role of other factors in this association.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
