A cognitive behavioural intervention to improve self-esteem in sexual minority women in primary care psychological therapies services: a feasibility and acceptability study. | C4C
Research shows that compared to heterosexual women, sexual minority women do not benefit as much from talking therapies in some NHS services. This study aims to address this by testing a new therapy specifically tailored towards sexual minority women. We want to know what women think of the new treatment and anything we can change to make it better. We are inviting women who identify as being lesbian, bisexual, queer or any other non-heterosexual sexual orientation who are experiencing low self-esteem/self-confidence and looking to improve their self-esteem/self-confidence. They must be aged 16 years and above and registered with or eligible to register with Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, or Croydon Talking Therapies services.
