Enhancing diagnostic accuracy in child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) electronic health records using artificial intelligence approaches

At present, it is difficult to accurately identify diagnoses from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) records for research; this project will overcome this challenge using Natural Language Processing and artificial intelligence, whereby mentions of diagnoses will be identified and extracted from text.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
