Living Well with Psychosis: Enriched Packages of Social Care

  • Applicant: Hannah Weir
  • Project ID: 23-091

CRIS will be used to identify information about those with psychosis living within the SLaM catchment through demographic and social variables (age, diagnosis, gender, employment etc.) and area level characteristics (area-level deprivation, proximity to services), as well as assessing the uptake and capture of social indicators by clinicians through forms available via CRIS. This data will provide us with an understanding of population need, service use, areas of high prevalence of psychosis, and capture of social variables, all of which will later be combined with stakeholder input to inform service provision and the development and evaluation of a tailored package of social care.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
