Health Needs Analysis for people with a diagnosis of a serious mental illness and Type 2 diabetes

The current diabetes care model does not work for people with mental illness, and we do not know what model will work best. The project will provide a basis to inform what we are going to prioritise future work on, identify gaps in our understanding of this population, including gaps in available data and help us to understand current utilisation of local diabetes services by people with SMI
