Investigating clozapine-related blood dyscrasias (neutropenia and agranulocytosis)

  • Applicant: Hamilton Morrin
  • Project ID: 24-023

Clozapine is a highly effective medication used for treatment resistant psychosis though can sometimes be associated with side effects of changes in white blood cell levels. Using a technique developed to identify clozapine treatment start dates, we will investigate who develops these changes in white blood cells and the point at which these changes tend to occur during a course of treatment.
