Prevalence of Antipsychotic Polypharmacy in Forensic Services across South London

The prescription of two or more antipsychotics concurrently (polypharmacy) has been reported to be widespread among forensic inpatients; however, research is lacking on prescription trends and polypharmacy rates in South London’s forensic settings.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
