The Prevalence of Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders in Psychiatric Inpatients

This study will investigate how common epilepsy and seizures are in patients admitted to psychiatric hospitals. By reviewing four years of patient data from the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, we aim to understand who is most affected, the treatments they receive, and how they access neurological care.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
