This project is associated with an existing approved project “Using CRIS to estimate incidence of psychosis: a 10-year follow-up study”. The aims of this new project is to better understand the factors that lead to excess physical comorbidities and premature mortality in people with psychosis, with a particular focus on the role of loneliness and social isolation.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
