Risk and protective factors for suicidal distress among young people with and without social work involvement

  • Applicant: Barry Coughlan
  • Project ID: 24-039

Research suggests that young people with social work involvement are more likely to present to mental health services with issues associated with suicidal distress. This project will provide an account of the factors that are linked to these difficulties in young people, examining whether different factors influence these difficulties in children with and without social work involvement.
