Developing precision computerised cognitive behavioural therapy (cCBT) for adolescent depression: a pilot and feasibility randomised controlled trial (SPARX-UK)

  • Applicant: Matteo Catanzano
  • Project ID: 24-073

Each year more young people are diagnosed with depression, so it’s important we find better ways to help young people. This study wishes to assess if a new form of computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – SPARX (Smart, Positive, Active, Realistic, X factor computer game); delivered with and without the support of a mental health practitioner is beneficial to children and young adults with mild-to-moderate depression.
