Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), such as socioeconomic status and social support, significantly impact mental health but are often under-recorded in structured electronic health records. This project seeks to develop a framework using natural language processing and machine learning to identify and analyse SDOH in clinical notes, enabling more comprehensive mental health care.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
