A prolonged QT interval is an irregular heart rhythm that can be seen on a heart test called an electrocardiogram. Due to a change in how the heart’s bottom chambers send signals, it takes longer than usual for the heart to recharge between beats. This project aims to investigate the factors contributing to prolonged QT intervals in patients with severe mental health conditions’.
