Developing a Novel Therapy for Aversive Sensory Experiences in Autism

The goal of this study is to assess whether a new psychological intervention can improve sensory-related anxiety in autistic young people. Participants will complete a group CBT-based intervention to help manage sensory difficulties and associated anxiety, as well as take part in behavioural and physiological assessments of sensory processing and anxiety.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
