Exploring the Clinical and Neuroimaging Significance of Splenium Lesions Across Neurological and Psychiatric Disorders

Splenium lesions are observed in various neurological and psychiatric conditions, yet their etiological significance, impact on corpus callosum volumetrics, and relationship to specific psychiatric symptoms remains unclear. The project will examine the structural features of the corpus callosum, with a strong focus on the splenium, and analyze their clinical relevance based on associated patient data.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
