Is a skills group, aimed at teaching adolescents with ADHD new ways to manage their emotions and interactions with others, liked and helpful?
Young People with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can struggle with their emotions and friendships. Support in these areas can be helpful. This study is exploring whether a brief therapy group focused on building skills in these areas is liked, attended and helpful for young people with ADHD. The group is based on a therapy called Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
