Does Training on Diagnosis Improve the Way Staff Diagnose and Formulate Treatment of Depression and Personality Disorder?

This study aims to train staff on diagnosing the severity of depression, in using the Standardized Assessment of Personality-Abbreviated Scale (SAPAS) as an assessment tool for detecting personality disorder, and to assess whether the training sessions improve the diagnosis of severity of depression and of personality disorder.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
