Autism, Ethnicity and Immigration

This project will investigate whether a correlation exists between Autism Spectrum Disorder in children and the immigration status of the mother, and will compare ethnic backgrounds of children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders referred to SLaM services and access to clinical and educational services.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
