Cognitive difficulties in psychiatric patient populations are prevalent and further studies are required to fully elucidate the relation between clinical symptoms and cognitive performance. The study aims to examine language and functional capacity in patients with depression and psychosis using a series of computerised tasks.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
