Children and adolescents with diagnosed PTSD: clinical profiles, outcomes, and risk factors

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a common, distressing, and impairing condition in young people, but little is known about the needs of young people diagnosed with PTSD in specialist services. In the proposed research project, we will investigate the sociodemographic and clinical profiles, outcomes, and risk factors for poor outcomes in children and adolescents diagnosed with PTSD.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
