People with mental health needs often also require adult social care support, but these systems hold separate data, making it difficult to understand how services interact to influence health outcomes.

This project will link SLaM NHS mental health records with Lambeth Council adult social care data to enable research into patterns of service use and their impact on health and wellbeing.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
