Religion is currently under-reported in electronic health records (EHRs) and CRIS research publications. This project will develop a ‘Natural Language Processing’ (NLP) application to find information on religion from text fields (e.g., case notes and letters) in the record.
The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
