Predictors of delayed antipsychotic treatment switching in people with first episode psychosis (extension of project 20-003)

  • Applicant: Rashmi Patel
  • Project ID: 25-091

Most people who experience psychosis respond well to the first antipsychotic treatment they are prescribed, but some may not. There are often substantial delays in finding the most effective treatment in people who do not respond well to initial treatments. This study aims to identify the factors associated with greater delays to receiving effective antipsychotic treatment.
